Info on the closure

The Museum of Industrial Clock Making is currently closed.

Why is the Museum of Industrial Clock Making closed?
The reason is that the building is being renovated after 30 years of museum operation. Valuable, heavy and sensitive exhibits in the exhibition have to be dismantled or protected by an enclosure.

How long will the Museum of Industrial Clock Making be closed?
The Museum of Industrial Clock Making will be closed from 22 April 2025, probably until November 2025.

Can I still buy museum clocks?
During the closure period, the workshop will be relocated and will not be able to produce any clocks. Alarm clocks ready for collection can be picked up after the closing time. We ask for your understanding. If you have any questions about the workshop and volunteer work, please contact our Förderkreis.

When can I plan a visit or book a guided tour again?
